For Mike's idea no matter where we'd start the duplicating, there's still going to be compensation picks that are better than picks that come before it.
With my idea, it definitely would improve bidding just to go to 2nd and 3rd rounders, but going to 5th and 6th rounders would probably remove all doubts of people bidding. I don't think the pen and paper rounds would be that tough. Instead of having someone track the who's available list (which hardly anyone uses), we could have someone track who's been taken in the compensation rounds. It's pretty easy to click on a link and read a short list.
