NYY 2nd Round Pick
NYY 3rd Round Pick
NYY 4th Round Pick

I like Wetmore's bat, and I am never here live for the draft so I figured Id move the later picks for a more immediate piece. And HOPEFULLY this will get Petey off my back regarding Wetmore.

I accept. Wetmore remains an odd man out on my roster so I'll pick up some good lottos

Yeah, Peter hounding about this is enough for me to pull a rare veto out

My thoughts on the deal:

It's not bad enough to veto. In fact it's not that bad at all. Maybe a little over pay, but nothing outrageous. If people think a low 80's contact is really a .190's hitter, then I'll gladly take your 80 contact, 90 power bats that barely have enough PAs to be a full season for what Wetmore is supposedly to go for. Players can sometimes take awhile to get going and it just looks real bad for Wetmore because he has 2 partial seasons instead of 1 full season right now. Anyone with a player like Wetmore would be trying the same. He has good vitals and it's possible he can hold up at 3B. Talent in a few of the recent draft classes has seemed to drop off the table after the first round, so it's quite possible that after compensation, NYY's 2nd doesn't even net that great of a prospect.
