MVP 07: NCAA Baseball Forum Team Sign-Ups

I tried this awhile back, but didn’t get the interest. Maybe with it being baseball season and some new GMs around from the last time, there will be enough now.

1) I'll be playing each game and posting game recaps for you all to enjoy.

2) I don't want to see any freakish or unrealistic builds on players. That includes names and appearance. It's just a personal thing that if I'm playing the games, I don't want any comical or reference names.

3) The ratings in the templates are what the players will default at and cannot be lowered. Ratings rise in increments of 5. However, Contact, Power, and Speed can increase by 1. For pitchers Stamina, Velocity, and Control can increase by 1.

Position Players: 200 Points
Pitchers: 150 Points (2 Pitches), 175 (3+ Pitches)
Dual Players: 250 Points (2 Pitches), 275 (3+ Pitches)

Bunt, Stealing, Base Running, Accuracy, Pickoff = 5 for 3 Points

4) Lastly, remember this is COLLEGE, so playing multiple positions (even pitching and playing the field) is the norm. Everyone will be allowed to create three players. You cannot make three pitchers or three position players. Get creative, cause I'll use the entire roster. Platoons, situation players, all of that.

Note that if there’s enough interest, your second may not be used.

Ben Parker was considered one of the top high school catching prospects and turned down offers to play for UCLA, Stanford, and UNC in order to play for coach Nokes. His biggest claim to fame is his arm and quick release, which makes him an asset behind the plate, but he also has a solid bat. During off days behind the plate, Parker also showed some potential at third base. There are concerns about his speed and durability due to a knee injury he suffered as a sophomore in high school.
