Hokey is an admin too.
I obviously wouldn't do this without the consent of the league.

I like the idea butI don't think we should mess around with it too much. Maybe let us change a series but thats it. The luck of teh draw in the schedule making is what you should get but one series wouldn't hurt.

Well even the slightest schedule change I make I would have to review everything and make sure the teams are still in balance, if I change one series, I have to find new matchups for other teams and what not. If one has a 4 game series and 1 has a 3 game series, it gives me more work to do to find where I could add a game so EVERY team has EXACTLY 162 games.

I don't like it in all honesty, We would turn this into college football and people trying to pad their schedule with easier opponents. Who is going to want to schedule something with the Yanks, Tampa, Houston etc...

Well exactly - I wrote earlier that I wouldn't allow teams like Houston, Milwaukee, or NYY over load on easy interleague teams to get free wins. The match ups would have to be between teams that are close. It would be sweet to see NYY and Houston matchup in the regular season though.

Jordan, what would the incentive be for houston to schedule nyy? Strength of schedule does not work in baseball. I think this is a great idea concept wise but when it comes down to how it will play it will be a major headache and cluster fuck. As it is right now, you should see each team in the AL once every 3-4 seasons. I say just leave it as is and lets not let someone figure a way to bend the idea behind the rules to gain an advantage.
