Better vitals than Colorado's current pitchers doesn't say much.

I'm sticking to this veto, other mods can do what they want. We have too many have-nots in this league already to let this happen again. (Your Felix point is valid - I'd be much harder on trades if I could.) Tere is not a blue-chipper in this bunch and as decent as the vitals are on Castillo, Kahle, and Garcia they have the collective health of one good player.

A trade for a 94 rated pitcher who is 29 should have at least one no-doubt blue-chipper. If Garcia was flipped for Rosen that would be a workable package.

i veto also, I think this is really close, it's just hard to approve a deal when the main big spec in the deal is only 16, the other players are not that great of prospects to make up for it, this can easily be reworked though if need be

I think he's a great prospect! he's only 16 and his OV is just about in the 70s, and his peak is high 90s, he should be a real deal. It might just be awhile.

Normally 18 year old specs have current OVs in the mid 50s, this guy is 16 and his current OV is 70.

He's also got a crap fastball with low velocity, a bad health rating, and meh vitals.

This deal reminds me of the crap the Yanks offered for Strasburg.

He's got good movement, and his other pitches are decent, and SF showed that you can win with crap health rattings.


But I guess I have to agree that in general this trade lacks for Ubaldo.

I'm on the fence. With Mosby jumping I went from def. no to on the fence (even tho that might make Nick balk). I think Garcia is a fine prospect and the fastball isn't everything and is relative to his vitals. So he'll have a serviceable fastball IMO when his power gets to the 60s. So I think he is a blue chip and I think Mosby is a very nice prospect. The other two are nonspects and low 80s w/out useful vitals.

The catch for me is I think COL is still a playoff team if they can find a closer. Since it's not my position to tell a team which direction to take their team and with mosby looking like a solid 2nd piece to go with Garcia I'll approve but with two of the pieces changing both GMs reserve the right to pull out and mods should revote.

if the yankees make the changes they have said they would be willing to make then I approve that would be a good haul I think
