2014 Switch

I was just figuring out 13 and now we are switching again. With no guarantee that it will be better. I'm not sure I am up for figuring out another version. Especially since we won't be able go test this before we switch I think we should hold off until we can do testing before switching.

I'm not being a being dick here when I say this, but what is their to learn? The game and layout is the same. Aside from strategies now also being player specific. It fixes a bunch of bugs like our arm problem and other small things. Anything over 13 would be better.

It's not like we won't test or haven't tested yet. It's simply that we won't put in a lot of work to test things out when the unknown problems of '14 are still better than the known problems of '13.

Problems of '13
- OF Arm Glitch (Might be fixed on '14)
- Lack of Secondary Positions (Fixed on '14)
- Unbalanced Draft Classes (Looks better on '14)
- Lack of Split Stats (Should be fixed going forward on '14)
- No Individual Strategies (On '14)

The defensive vitals suddenly falling off has been fixed on 16.09. Other than simming out slow for me, I like what I'm seeing. In my opinion waiting through the 2038 season to switch allows Clay about a month to come out with 16.10. If he doesn't by the time we wrap up 2038, we still go ahead with the switch. If the only major issue that we'd have if the OF Arm Glitch, then it's obviously an upgrade.

Maybe I worded it wrong but my players got reamed when we switched to 13. This set me back a lot and I had to redo and start my rebuild over again. And we did this after we were assured that '11 would be better than '13. So forgive me if I am hesitant to make another switch that could lead to more issues like the lat switch did.

No, I totally get that hesitation Jason. The switch to 13 is one I kind of just rolled with like you did and I too was very pissed at the effect. I build my roster to be versatile and 13 destroyed so much of that.

We're hopefully going to have a chance to let people see what the switch would do, it's the intensive long term testing we won't be able to do.
