Im not sure what the thinking by the Admin is on this issue, but there is a problem if Wagner is taken from me and given to the White Sox. Because my second choice was Metheny who went after my pick to Boston. If Wagner is given to Chicago, then Metheny would have to be given to me and then Boston would be stuck with who they wanted next most.... needless to say, there would be a huge mess with all of that. So, just checking what is being planned to happen on this issue. :)

I mean I could have been e-mailed or texted to ensure that my pick was Wagner or not. That was my big issue here. My list was developed under the assumption that I had drafted Wagner already.

I won't piss or moan, but I want compensation if this does go through.

My confusion stemmed mostly from the fact that the list I received was comprised of players that had no chance of falling to your next pick. I had contradictory information so I went with what I thought was the most current information, the PM sent two days after the thread.

Yeah but my understanding is also that jps was under the impression that I drafted Wagner. Also I would have updated the thread with the draft pick. The reason I gave you the list with even players I couldn't get was because I was under the impression I'd rather be safe and include everyone no matter how high in case they were taken.

I'm just shocked no attempt was made for the confirm. I know it is not the leagues responsibility, but I have yet to miss a draft and now the one time I do its a complete messup. Which is fine, but do I seriously have to check in with picks? DJ you do have my e-mail, I have an iphone I would have gotten back to you immedieately. In fact I was texting with jps at 9:10pm.

Also the only reason I made that thread was the fact I knew I was not attending the draft. Also other gms wanted to get the draft started. Piazza decided to wait multiple days to trade his pick (which he is entitled to), in the future I won't make a thread even when prompted to by other gms.

I wasn't really sure how else to approach it, I wasn't even aware there was a contradiction until after I made the selection. I didn't know how else to approach it so I went with the most current info.

Can anything be done? Or am I just stuck with my 4th/5th favorite guy (again I deleted the players I preferred ahead of him). Again I'll do whats right for the league and keep salquero, but I need something to compensate for it.

It is not easy monitoring the draft and I understand that so I will be receptive to the mistake, but I do need some compensation (i'm not looking to screw everyone else)>
