I always liked McMullin and he developed (probably thanks to a random jump) better than I expected. He'll likely be the heir apparent to Paine at 3B.

"whats needed"? You're 30 million under budget and shopping your awful FA contracts.....so you trade a 22 year old for one prospect and cash you don't need?

Agree with andy here.... WTF is this?... i know essentially this is your team piazza, but there comes a point where you have to start saying things out loud before you do them, and if they sound stupid/crazy out loud, you probably shouldnt do it... " i'm gonna trade a 22 year old 3B coming off a break out year who is a defensive whiz for an aging/declining SS who is a career .259 hitter AND that makes $9M through next year and a fringe spect and cash i dont need." ..... please, say that out loud, if that doesnt sound dumb to you, i'm not sure what planet you are on.
