1. Once the trade deadline has passed Waivers has League Priority.
- This means, for example, the best team in the AL would win a waiver before ANY NL team would have priority if the waived player is from the AL.
2. Any trades or FA signings that come in Sept or Oct (after Sim 10) are ineligible for post-season play.
- This is how it is in real life and wouldn't be too hard to track since not many moves are made this late in the season anyway.
3. Ability to have Career Window to start for current season.
- This is one of the nuisances of Mogul and I've noticed it getting worse as we progress. I've seen some players not hitting their career window until 25 or 26 even though they're rated 80 overall. It makes no sense that they can be this far progressed in their development, have a rating that all would say in MLB ready, yet Mogul is still holding them back.
For those that might not know the Career Window usually starts at age 23. Ages 22 and 24 as the start are a little rare and going further away in either direction of 23 is even more rare. Players will usually see a +3 to each of their vitals (including health) and a +3 or +4 to their overall rating.
This is also why you see a player rated 80/84 at Spring Training and even though he has a July birthday, after ST he's peaked at 83 or 84. This is because he actually peaked after his last birthday but hadn't yet hit his Career Window. This is basically Mogul saying, he's peaked, but not ready for the majors. How does that make sense?
Since the average Career Window is supposed to be 23, I could see a difference in price if you're trying to make a player hit his window at 22 or younger. I do see this being less of a cost than winterball. In winterball you also have the ability to increase a player's peak (and further increase his value in the future). Whereas with speeding up his career window only affects his overall and the window is something every player will eventually hit.
This would need to be done after Spring Training so we can see which players had their ST jump. $5M for players 22 or under and $3M for players 23 or older would be my suggestion.
