NTC Buyouts
#1
I know it's become frustrating for more than a couple GMs that the rules in FCM has ground the trading market to a practical halt. It seems over half the league is opposed to adjusting talent so the only other idea I can come up with to loosen the market back up with is to lower the price to buy out a NTC. It's currently at 23M so I propose we go back to the original price of 15M. It's still high enough to put some limitation on GMs buying them out but it's not killer. You still risk alienating the agent by buying out a NTC but I think this price is a little less restricting.

Please let me know your thoughts on this idea.

I think its more realistic ot have the higher price but you also have to look at the trade market because thats what makes moguling fun. Its basically the cost of a 1st round pick being sold in order to just pay half so I do think lowering it would open up the trade market a bit.

I am indifferent to the idea in all honesty. I will honor my NTC that I have signed.

I think we should do a system of reduction:

1st yr-20 million
2nd yr-18 million
3rd year 15 million
Contracts that were signed with the ntc had the intention of a 23 million should be honered as such

Yeah but what about guys that were signed under the old rule and then the amount went up??? I think 15m is more than fair, especially since in real life that everyone seems to want so bad, players waive their ntc for waaaaayyy less and a lot of the time for free just to get out...

Alright, I approve reducing it back to 15M, however the NTC will no longer be removed and the 'buyout' will be a waiving fee. Thoughts?
