i voted shoutbox and here is why, this happened to me twice where random people would come into the chat and start chatting it up in different languages and I couldn't read what anyone else was talking and I was the only one that could see this so I had to spend time to block these people which doesn't help because more spammers come in. I like knowing that our chats are secure and that when I refresh a page to see what new posts there are I don't lose an entire private conversation with people, the other chat was broken and sure shoutbox has drawbacks as well but at least it is not broken and unsecure. I am sure there is another chatbox to put up to see who is online, when you could just go to the bottom and go to the who's online page. From what I know there are a couple of people that did a lot of work for this site and are still working hard to find a perfect chatbox to use and I think they need a big thank you, so thanks to everyone who was involved in paying for this site, putting it together, and helping with ideas to put it together. I just hope that the best decision can be made about this and whatever decision it is I hope it involves getting rid of the old way of chatting, that was really starting to bother me because of the spam that came in and I was really excited to find out we were getting a new site. I don't think something like the chat should be put up to a league wide vote, that is just what I think, just because I believe that the admins and the owner of this league will probably be here when/if this league ends and the rest of the GM's I have seen some come and go, I am not proposing that be the case I am just making an observation I guess

I voted Shout, I don't care a lot, but on some computers I access the site from - XAT was debilitating to the loading process.

It also used to annoy me that refreshing the page ended private conversations. I'd be open to finding something that blends the best of XAT without being a massive drain.

I admit I was un-educated on knowing many other types of chatbox's so if we could find one that works like XAT's but without the clunkyness of messing up pc's but still being able to see who's online I'd be all for that.
