Upon figuring out the compensation order today, I found people may not have been 100% clear on when we're changing the compensation format. The change to one compensation round is happening THIS YEAR. However, due to it not being clear you will lose picks according to previous seasons this time (lose 5th for Type A, 6th for Type B).
Next season you will lose 5th for signing one compensation player, 5th and 6th for signing two, and 4th-6th for signing three.
Also, we are trying to keep rules updated in each forum. If something looks out of date or is confusing to ask and we will clarify.
