Two things from my end.
-I haven't placed specific rules on missing resignings since I think everything about that scenario is rather subject. Which GM, his recent activity history, the specific teams place in the market/division/league, and the players' situations are all unique are all things that vary on a case-by-case basis. I think it's well understood that's the one thing you cannot miss in FCM without risking immediate dismissal from your team. I also think it's important we handle those scenarios as if they were my or an admins team and we try and get them the most reasonable results possible. I think extra penalty lies in the fact we have to up our arby submission to try and make sure the player doesn't win. We don't rerun the files for missing resignings. Between the two I think we have a satisfactory deterrent to missing them and we don't pigeon hole teams who are already receiving some form of neglect if the resignings file is missing.
-As far as the timing goes there's a widening gap between guys who want us to run fast and guys who want us to run at a more leisurely pace. I think there should be more than a week between the playoff sim of one year and the 1st sim of the next year. I'd really like a league wide consensus found on this b/c there are guys on both sides of the subject. Obviuosly I move at a turtle's pace in the offseason so the slower the better for me.
