Whoever has the most money is going to be able to throw their weight around in the bidding. As Corey listed, many of those teams are the most successful here and don't need any extra help. For as much as I can take out of this...
There's going to be a few different TV contract options with different amount of years and fan base additions for those years. So maybe I get a 5 year TV contract that gives me a +5 Fan Base for those 5 years (I would assume once the contract is over you lose the Fan Base you received). Couldn't I just purchase upgrades to improve Fan Base? That way I'd have it forever instead of just 5 years.
Now, I know we don't have a specific Fan Base upgrade, but upgrading Convenience, Comfort, and Sight Lines will improve your Fan Base over time.
