Late to the party.
I voted for budget caps but I think right now the caps are a bit too low, I know they were put in place to allow smaller market teams to spend the max but as it sits right now, 10 teams are spending at the cap on farm.
All I think it is doing is devaluing the farm systems of teams that can spend to the max, as evident by the fact I am tied with the Yanks and Jays as having the best "rated" farm systems at 95. Last year when you spent at the max you were a 100 or 99.
I personally think we should raise both farm and medical caps by $10 at the next off-season rather then $5 million like it was this year.
If we want some smaller market teams to have better farm systems, there has to be a better way that does not involve 1/3 of the league spending at the cap.
