Gossage is entering his last year of team control and he is really my 5th best starting pitching option on my team. Not going to invest the money into a contract and I get two prospects in return that I like. I also threw in Kalafatis who is a 26 year old career AAA player for me that cannot crack my lineup or bench. I also don't really care for his vitals.
