It's just the reality of Mogul 2011 that players take randomn drops - especially position players. I've taken issue with it too, but there's nothing we can do to stop it.
Be more careful about who you sign and for how long you sign them - contracts have risk in real life too. I'd much rather try to control people handing out bad deals by enforcing the 100% rule and then let DJ make judgement calls about deals that deserve breaks in the best interest of the league.
