While I like the idea of more sims, I'm concerned about some people not being able to keep up. I would suggest to do ~10 day sims, like we already do in September, simming 5 days per week (Sun-Thu).

Under our normal schedule we basically sim 45 days of our season per week. This we give us around 50 days simmed per week. It'd give us a little speed up and more chances to fix injuries and make other changes.
