I'm not 100% sure where we're at on the Position Change thing. It was talked about banning it, but then allowing it with sanity checks. I don't like the sanity check idea, because it's murky on what's allowed. Is taking a 75 arm, 80 range, 80 field SS to 85, 90, 85 allowed? Would taking an 85 arm, 90 range, 80 field SS to 88, 93, 87 be allowed? I just think the easiest would be to ban the natural position change loophole completely and allow for players to add additional positions through WB.
2B/SS could move to or add the OF (Billy Hamilton, Dee Gordon)
C could move to or add 3B (Carlos Santana)
3B could move to or add LF/RF (Lonnie Chisenhall, Nick Castellanos)
Really anything that makes sense would be considered. It would cost the same as a WB (10M) and use one of the team's WB slots for that season.
