4) Shouldn't a primary SS also have 3B added as well? Wasn't the general thought to have utility infielders and outfielders? It's not a tough transition for a SS to play 3B.
6) I'm not sure this is needed. To what end does it stop? Most all good defensive catchers have 1B in the 70s. As well as most great fielders will have 1B in that skill range too. In the end I think LF/RF, CF/LF/RF, SS/2B/3B gives us plenty of flexibility without needing to make super utility players that this could mean.
Also, will this mean supposed utility players that already have predicteds will be fixed? Josh Munslow is an example. Mogul suggests he has predicteds at 3B, but his performance has been very poor at 3B and judging from his vitals/performance at 2B and SS, he should be much better at 3B than he is.
