I'm at work so I am unable to ask this in the xat, but amateur draftee Ben Straight took a fall inbetween FA file one and FA file three. Wanted to know if any you mogul experts can clarify this glitch somehow, just so I can be aware of it in the future and watch my guys more closely in the off season. I'm sure it was answered in the chat yesterday but I may be unable to get on today. I was just unaware players could drop without games being simmed.

ratings can change he may not have actually dropped, and just the peak or slight movement where the game is not sure what ratings he actually is. that happens a few times with certain players when they are on the border of a peak/overall.

So the game can randomly turn on its engine and boost or take from players just like that without simulation? It seems like a rare occurrence but it is great to find out new things about the engine.

It probably has something to do with releases in the off-season. If the FA Pool is at the max then releases will cause FAs to be retired until the the Pool is back down to the max. This likely causes a shift in the Talent Distribution and Mogul adjusts.
