Oakland//Pittsburgh

Oakland trades
LF Aaron Bauckman 78/94 pennies
C Vincent Shultz 65/74 pennies
P Alex Perez 53/74 pennies

to Pittsburgh For
OF Graham Dickinson 94/94 4.3M 1yr arb

I agree, I need to add dynamic player ,and GD does that. Bauckman should be a solid bat for Pittsburgh but this should help me now and in the future. Aaron wasn't going to be ready for at least another year or two.

Accept. Getting a nice power hitting outfield and a couple of throw ins to try and rebuild a depleted farm.

not sure how I feel about this one...

If I can make a suggestion...there would likely be no controversy about this deal if a second piece in the mid 80s for a peak was thrown in.

decker91 · 04-21-2014, 03:40 PM

veto... Shop him around a little this is a small return for a player like GD

dolph72 · 04-22-2014, 03:06 PM

Tried the shopping thing but the only return I could get from anyone was a mid 80s peaked outfielder. But if anyone has a better offer do let me know.

I don't want to officially veto this. I'd like to see Cdawg step up and make this happen with a better offer.

But this deal doesn't go through as is.

go ahead and veto it, it's likely not going to happen. Imo Decker is the only person who actually voted. Both JPS and Andy have an opinion that is effected by the masses who are crying foul.
