World Baseball Classic

During the off-season we will compile teams from countries around the world and sim out a tournament.

1) Teams: USA, Canada, Cuba, Japan, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico, World Team (if enough players)

2) Teams will be voted on, if needed (Benches require C, non-1B IF, OF)

3) Lineups and Pitching Staffs will be auto-sorted (USA Rotation will be voted on)

4) Teams will play a double round robin schedule

5) Playoffs will be in three-game series format

Given how short the offseason is...would you like teams to volunteer their own players for this? That way it breaks up the complication of scouring every team.

Most countries are pretty well set. Peter set up a preliminary list. I guess we can get that out now and people can nominate players that they think were missed. Then after the season, seeing how their full season stats total, and who retires we can make the teams official.
