NYY - Col
#1
:COL: Acquires
15 yo SP Yosvani Garcia (69/96), Arb '16
23 yo SP Timmy Mosby (77/85), Arb '16
21 yo OF Marc Lorge (69/86), Arb '16
22 yo CF Kelly Dugan (73/86), Arb '16

:NYY: Acquires
29 yo SP Ubaldo Jimenez (94/94), $6.9M

I like those 4 youngsters (especially Yosvani "The Philosopher" Garcia), but needed to make a move for a SP to replace Johan

Edit: Added enough cash for the Rox to send a 2nd guy to WB

i accept ubaldo proll command too much for my team and get young players for future

I have to be honest, I think these are four really shitty prospects. I have to veto - it looks good on paper but a 94 SP in his prime has to command more than this.

Deleted Mstrprs post - Teams not involved in a trade, or are not a trade mod, are not allowed to post in a thread. I wont fine him, but just don't do it again.

Take out 8M from NYY but dont give it to COL

i veto also, I think this is really close, it's just hard to approve a deal when the main big spec in the deal is only 16, the other players are not that great of prospects to make up for it, this can easily be reworked though if need be

Changes I'd be willing to make to the deal:
Add SP Jason Kahle (68/84)
Swap OF Ramon Castillo (75/88) for OF Marc Lorge (69/86)
Swap CF Dave Cardigan (71/81) for CF Kelly Dugan (73/81)

Castillo already has 88 contact, 79 power & 76 eye. Cardigan has similar ratings to Dugan but is a year younger. Kahle is good SP spect w/ 80+ control, 70 movement, & 2 good pitches. Adding that to Garcia, Mosby, & the $8M in cash that was already used in WB

Castillo is a legitimate player. But I'm failing to see anyone in this deal that even approaches a big time talent.

In my eyes, Colorado needs to be getting at least one can't miss contributor, I'm seeing a lot of filler.

Haha, both offers are lightyears better than what KC stole Felix for, a deal where only 1 GM signed off on it as opposed to both Colorado Co-GMs agreeing to this original offer, just assuming they'll accept the recent offer as well that makes up for Dugan's slight offseason ratings drop. The 2nd offer gives them a SP that will pitch at a high level for 2 decades for them & an OF who can potentially bat 3rd for them as soon as later this season. Not to mention "the filler guys" already have better vitals than some of Colorado's current MLB pitchers
