Then why trade Macies? I think the ratings mask Izabel as a better player than he really is. He looks all contact, nothing else to me. And for that to be the only really good thing to come out of this trade seems too little for what might be one of the game's best young SPs.
Furthermore, I don't think you gave any indication in your block that he'd be available and a player like this should probably be shopped.

If you're more of an offensive guy...why are two of the players you got in return pitchers and not hitters?
I don't mean to push you too hard, but you're dealing a pitcher making nothing who has three years of team control and you're getting a fifth starter and a couple of decent players.
I think you'd find the market for an arm like Macies MUCH higher than this.
I'm guessing we can safely say Matty and I are both vetos.
