Interesting idea in theory. My fear is that the only teams this really benefits would be teams who are already some of the richest teams in the game and don't need the help. Those tend to be the teams to have wide fanbases (Yanks, Sox, Cubs, Braves, Jays as far as basically being "Canada's" team)

Whoever has the most money is going to be able to throw their weight around in the bidding. As Corey listed, many of those teams are the most successful here and don't need any extra help. For as much as I can take out of this...

There's going to be a few different TV contract options with different amount of years and fan base additions for those years. So maybe I get a 5 year TV contract that gives me a +5 Fan Base for those 5 years (I would assume once the contract is over you lose the Fan Base you received). Couldn't I just purchase upgrades to improve Fan Base? That way I'd have it forever instead of just 5 years.

Now, I know we don't have a specific Fan Base upgrade, but upgrading Convenience, Comfort, and Sight Lines will improve your Fan Base over time.

The game already calculates this factor in your budget, so it would be really tough to do something out of the game. It would give the big markets a clear advantage because they would be able to double dip. Like the ideas but not a fan of this one.

Only way to do something like this is pen and paper with randomizer.org I don't see a practical way of doing this that does amount to purchasing lottery tickets and randomizing the results (bonuses to the teams). It's a cool idea in principal mogul just doesn't give us much to work with.

i think he could do a randomize thing 1-32 for contracts. This is a better idea then Stadium Upgrades.
