PIT gets
P Damien Parington 66/89 19 yo min
RF Peter Helm 65/81 18 min

BAL gets
P George Toth 79/86 22 yo min

Toth has pretty nice vitals and is pretty close to major league ready but I am in a position that i would rather try to get a couple of higher upside lottery tickets out of Toth and get some more talent into my lower minors.

I don't think this is a bad trade in terms of value. I think this is a bad approach by Baltimore. Since he's very new and still learning the ropes....veto

its not like he's getting some old washed up player, hes getting a young pitcher with good vitals who is ready or almost ready. not seeing that as a particularly bad approach, there are certainly worse
