TBR give up
Endreson, Aaron Short RP 24 $520,000 Arb '26 -- 79 82 81 8.6 45 56
Kinsley, Jamie (AAA) LF 22 $39,000 Arb '27 -- 74 93 73 8.7 77 62
Thompson, Curt (AAA) CF 20 $39,000 Arb '27 -- 69 86 76 7.8 -14 74

Atl accept gain 3 good young prospects for a guy who hates my team, kinsley has potential to be my future LF or be bait, Thompson can be my future CF if he develops right, Enderson should develop into a better macclean and I love this deal and hopefully my team can get better because of it

Accept. Kinsley is a scrub, who can only hit HR's and he can't field. Thompson is going to be solid and same with Endreson, didn't really want to part with them. </3 But I get Gonzalez, and I really need a 1B who can hit and be the star of this rebuilding phase.

Ooof...I think this is god-awful value. Gonzalez does hate your team, but it's not hurting his production and he is still three years from FA.

I know he's been on the block it's just really hard to approve a rape-job like this.

I probably will, but i'm going to let it digest a bit.

I have to agree with Andy. I think Atlanta is looking way too much into player happiness. I have a handful a players with have below average happiness and it doesn't seem to be affecting their performance. As it stands now, if Gonzalez was allowed to be re-signed, his initial demands are $12.6M/3. For a guy of his caliber that's not a bad contract. Plus him dropping to an 89 is probably a blessing in disguise since now you won't have to go through an agent and can likely get him cheaper than either of the agents would require.

The big return is Kinsley and I don't see him as being all that special. I see him shaping up sort of like Jerry Hands on Seattle. He'll certainly have the power and while he may end up with better contact than Hands, he also won't walk nearly as much. I could see him with a .225/.275/.500 slash line. That with poor health and Adam Dunn-esque defense and he's not a very good overall player.

Sorry, but in a deal where one of the GMs openly admits that the player he is giving up sucks - I can't approve this. There needs to be a better centerpiece.

And don't deal players because of unhappiness unless it effecting play.

Veto.
