Unless I've overlooked it, this is the first year that The Show has allowed for you to load the previous year's roster. With the thinking that this will continue in the future and since we're doing all-century teams, this could be our moment to attempt to create FCM rosters on the Show. It may take awhile, but even if it's a few years, we should be able to eventually complete the project.

I've finally put my All-Time team through the ratings file as an example. I plan to start creating players soon and hope to have a roster file uploaded to The Show Vault afterwards. Here's the updated file for anyone who's interested in joining this project.

File Name: FCM All-Time Roster (League site is in the description) Username: mattynokes85
1. After you have the Excel file finished with your 28 players, what I recommend is using either the Live Roster or the Default Roster (I bounce back and forth).
2. Find generic players (A-Ball guys), edit them with the ratings from the Excel file, and customize their appearance/gear/stance/etc... how you see fit.
If you have a guy with unusual positions (i.e. Curt Lloyd is a 3B with 1B/2B), you'll have to find a generic player with those same positions and then don't change anything about his positions when editing him.
3. I will take care of the "New Fielder" extras as well as contracts and service time for all of your players.
4. Export each player and then load the FCM All-Time Roster. Import all of your players to your team.
5. Fix uniform numbers if you'd like and upload the file to the Vault.

The Cleveland roster is complete and in The Show Vault!
Let me know if you're wanting to make your team/players. For those that don't have MLB 20, if you have MLB 19 that should work as you can load MLB 19 rosters on MLB 20!
There's a poll that I'd like some feedback on in the opening post. In the meantime, I'm taking requests for any of our all-time greats that you'd like to see created.
Here's an updated file for MLB The Show 21/22. Since Y2Y roster saves are no longer supported, the FCM All-Time Roster project is on an indefinite hiatus. When (if ever) they bring back Y2Y saves, I'll continue the project.
I am putting together a team of recent retirees. I used 45 and under as the cutoff for our FCM file Find-a-Player (CTL + F). So, far only position players have been done. Pitchers will be added soon.

For starters, I do not plan to get The Show 23. However, I've tweaked a few things in the file and am going to roll the dice and believe that SDS will someday bring back Y2Y saves. The plan (hope) is to get this project back up and ready, so that the roster can be started using The Show 24.
Yes, I fully understand that the players that I added (Towle and Rainey) would not be eligible under my guidelines.
