#1 Min 19-7  - The Twinkies have used incredible pitching and an AL best 25 stolen bases to jump up to the top spot. Is this the best team out of Minneapolis since the 2010 team that won the Fall Classic 87 years ago?

#2 -  Nyy 17-10 - New York has been one of the more well rounded teams in FCM out of the gate with an OBP of .361 (1st), an OPS of .764 (11th), a .273 batting average (6th), 134 runs scored (13th) and an ERA of 3.33 (3rd). Could this be the Yankees' first trip back to the World Series in 16 years?

#3 -  Cle 16-11 - Cleveland is another team showcasing strength all around with a batting average of .267 (11th), OBP of .352 (4th), OPS of .781 (6th), 136 runs scored (10th), and an ERA 3.57 (7th). Cleveland hasn't been to the big dance in 36 seasons. Can Matty break the drought?

#4 -  Kcr 18-9 - Kansas City is neck and neck with Cleveland in most stat categories. Their offense has taken some time to warm up, but so long as their pitchers can keep performing like they have KC should be in good position to attempt FCM's first ever three-peat.

#5 -  Nym 23-4 - The Metropolitans boast the best record in FCM. They have established themselves among the leagues best, combining a 3.14 ERA (2nd) with 167 runs scored (1st) to take the throne through 2 sims. One fear I have is their knack for squeaking through one run games. Out of the 10 one-run games they featured in, they went into the eighth inning trailing by two runs or more five times and played extra innings five times. Maybe they keep up the clutch hitting. Maybe they fall back down to reality. Only time will tell.

#6 -  Sdp 16-11 - San Deigo's offense kept them atop of their division and in the power rankings, posting up 149 runs scored (3rd). They have a pitching staff that is more than capable, but some bad outings have lead to a mediocre performance as a whole so far in 2098. Last year was heart breaker for the Father's, and this year's team is hoping it can help alleviate the pain.

#1 - Min 56-25 --- Minnesota reclaims the top spot and continues to play great ball. Sims 7-10 will determine their true ability to dominate.
#2 - Nyy 57-26 --- The Yankees are the clear cut king of the AL East, but their hitting needs to start pulling it's weight a bit more for them to sustain their success.
#3 - Cle 54-28 --- Cleveland is the biggest threat to the Twins, in my opinion. Their starting pitchers can do well behind those very nice leads they are gifted by their offensive comrades. Hopefully their bullpen can keep the pace.
#4 - Atl 51-31 --- Atlanta has been a machine of consistency this year and it has them licking their chops as the NL's top dog. Like some other top teams, their bullpen has let them down some and will be a key factor in their pursuit for October.
#5 - Phi 50-32 --- Philadelphia's pitching started off the year hot and has cooled down a bit since, but being 4th in the league in runs scored should help the worries float away. The need to stay healthy is huge moving forward.
#6 - Nym 48-33 --- The Mets have struggled to score like a championship caliber team and if not for their superb pitching they might be looking like a fire sale candidate. Turning their hitters around in a division as competitive as the NL East will be a daunting task, to say the least.
#7 - Det 46-35 --- Detroit and the Mets share the same issues. Being listed at #7 and having an offensive ranking of 19th overall is no small feat. In order for them to stay ranked their line up needs to hit batting practice 2 hours early.
#8 - Wsh 47-34 --- Washington makes their debut on the rankings with some shutdown pitching. Their line up is slightly underachieving, but should they put it together the Nats will continue to trend upward.
#9 - Fla 45-38 --- Florida also makes the list for the first time this year. They've played pretty solid baseball all around and are a huge darkhorse in the NL, but their bullpen pitchers could stand to play much better.
#10 - Kcr 46-36 --- Kansas City has fallen, and it can't get up. Not even life-alert will be able to save them. They have confirmed a fire sale is imminent.
