2084 will mark 75 seasons here in FCM. That's crazy, but I was thinking today about something to mark the occasion and I figured this might be interesting:
All-Time 25 Man Roster. We vote by position groups, use the Hall of Fame and any current players in that mix to make the best possible 25 man roster we can. Here is how I was thinking about forming the roster:
2 Catchers
6 Infielders
5 Outfielders
6 Starting Pitchers
6 Relievers
One of the extra IF/OF would be the team's DH and one of the starters would be the long man.
Any thoughts on the idea or ways to tweak it? I'm posting it now so that I can start working on the votes over the next few seasons.
