my vote would be to leave it as is. we get a good crop of fa every year, lets try and keep it that way. the only way i'd be down for some kind of change is if the current system is too much workload for you.

I'm fine with the current system, don't really see any issues.

I would just inflate Type A and B fallback prices.
Type A 2y/20m
Type B 2y/10m

The only issue I considered maybe doing was only allowing players to be comped once. It makes sense, but I don't see it as a major issue either.

Keep the same system, but i like the salary suggestion. Bump up compensation to $10M/ 2 years and $20M/ 2 years. Adding another condition to make it so a player can only be comp'd once would be hard for Andy & teams to keep track of.

Same thoughts, here. As for keeping track of guys who have been comp'd, I think just a character in the nickname area like we do for WB would work fine. But I'm fine with keeping the status quo, or making these tweaks.

What I'm looking for is a noticeable desire among us to make changes. As a general rule....I vote simpler is better and to add rules only when necessary.
So I don't want to act on anything if all we have is a handful of guys say "Yeah...I guess that would be fine. Or whatever"
