This is all done mathematically. A C grade denotes an average staff or offensive team; naturally better than C means above average and lower than C means below. The teams are ordered in the projected final standing order and the wild cards are as follows.

AL WC1: HOU
AL WC2: CHW

NL WC1: ATL
NL WC2: NYM

World Champs: 2071, 2106, 2108
