Wand is the kind of guy who should thrive at my ballpark. His health is a little low, but worst case, he DHs.

I give up a lot to get him, but I think it's fair.

Patrick should be a good player down the road, but I have plenty of pitching prospects available, so losing one doesn't hurt me as much.

Burson is a guy who will hit for power. Just not in my ballpark. He should mash in Tex when he's ready.

Padres came loaded for bear on Wand and was able to get around my reluctance to trading him in the first place. Received a SP spec I can develop, and I can find some diamonds in the rough with those picks.
