2151 Draft: This Guy Sucks! - mattynokes - 05-18-2026

1. Chc SP Victor Santtago 68/93
I looks like he has a stellar opening build, but being that advanced and giving up a .277 OBA in three of his four years is a downer.

2. Stl SS Edward Williams 65/93
Besides this build being very polarizing development wise, his horrid health has him playing around 125 games per season even if his does develop.

3. Phi SS Chris Wanner 66/89
I get it. Vroom = Steals. However, no amount of speed will make up for him being terrible defensively. So, he’ll have Roberto Alomar’s Range to go with Alfonso Soriano’s Glove and Chuck Knoblach’s Arm.

4. Tex SP Royce Fortin 66/93
Dude LOVES to give up home runs. Good thing he was taken by a team with a 115 HR Effect.

5. Det SP Seth McIntyre 66/93
Does he want to be a power pitcher? Does he want to be a control pitcher? Who knows. He sure doesn’t. Mixing a control build in with a low GB% is no Bueno.

6. Bal SP Reginald Herod 52/92
I know young with a lot of room to grow, but that room from his Control to his Movement coupled with a few pretty high OBA seasons and it’s a no from me dawg.

7. Ari LF Gil Bastilla 72/94
Swings with his eyes closed. Connects sometimes for moonshots. Also fields with his eyes closed. Should try opening them.

8. Tor 1B Jeff Shuck 65/91
Has what you look for in a 1B. Lefty hitter with power above his overall and a good eye. However, Hokey drafted him.

9. Chw SP Joseph Minnix 63/90
That build is gross. Giving up double digit HRs in three different seasons is gross. A 25% GB rate is also gross.

10. Ari RF Yancy Chandler 67/88
Too good of an eye. Won’t swing at pitches. Yep.

11. Chc 1B Ray Tritle 61/94
Look above. Another dude who doesn’t like to swing the bat. Plus, he doesn’t bring a glove with him to the field.

12. Stl 2B Japanese Guy 75/88
He’s Asian.

13. Lad RF Rapahel Arolio 70/81
This is one of those picks where the GM(s) thinks he’s a genius. Yep. It’s smart to take a guy who’ll peak out in two years and become the best bench player in the league in the middle of the first round.

14. Wsh SP Gary McKechnie 65/94
Considering his overall, that build is hot ass in a porta potty in the middle of August.

15. Sdp RP Adam Rogers 52/89
A reliever this early? And his best skill is his 92 Health? Hmm.

16. Col SP Tom Millican 69/90
What a very okay, already jumped, pitcher to have. So inspiring that I don’t even have anything sarcastic to say.

17. Mon SP Wilfredo Cabello 67/93
Why is it that teams who have launching pad parks are the ones drawn to the types of pitchers that they should eschew?

18. Cin SP Dave White 52/86
Too scared to take lefties, so the Reds take a guy who shouldn’t have gone until about a half round later.

19. Mil SP Phil Park 80/93
The good news is that he’ll be MLB ready very soon. The bad news is that his floor and ceiling are the same – Long Relief.

20. Col 3B Jeremy Prinne 67/88
Can’t hit, can’t run, can’t get on base. But at least he can throw the ball!
