2014 Revenues - AndyP - 07-19-2013

Early on in the 2014 debacle, Clay adjusted the revenue calculations in 2014 and I had totally forgot about that. Combine that with the game not revealing how our numbers translated and we had some panic after the ST file was put up.

As a result, we had to bump league revenues to +60% to match revenues that were taken in last year by most teams. Here's the thing, I don't want to stay at those levels. So here is my suggestion:

2040 - we go down to +50%
2041 - down to +40% and player demands to +10%
2042 - down to +30% and player demands to 0%
2043 - stay put and assess where we are at for balance

Any thoughts/concerns? We'll run some tests each year before we do that, but I think we're on the high side right now anyway. It may be we stop somewhere before we get to 0%, but I think it's worth trying to get some of our budgets back into realism.

One side note: I wonder if 2014 took into account inflation when our file transferred? Afterall, it is 25 years later.
