2032 Resim 7 - AndyP - 10-08-2012

Post mistakes

RE: 2032 Resim 7 - Corey - 10-08-2012

Due to the decreased performance of my team in the re-sim despite not even playing the Reds at all, I demand 2 Winterball slots or I walk.

so umm, what's with the accommodation for one team? i've only been here one mogul year, but i've seen sims go by with mistakes without re-sims. i'm not claiming favoritism by any stretch cuz i know you guys are about as fair as i've seen, but i mean this would be a whole lot more transparent if it were consistent across the board.

PS it has nothing to do with W-L, because i know that my team won't be threatening playoffs. let's just try to avoid this slippery slope?

For the re-sim, Andy simmed a little early and JPS had his team file missed when it was in by the 9pm ET deadline.

For once and for all, I will just go ahead and explain my personal approach to how people are treated here. Not everyone is treated the same (and that's the way it is in real life). However, everyone is treated fairly.

A great example is the sign and trades. A GM who continually pushes the line of whether it is or isn't a S&T may not get their trade passed through. While a GM who most always treats players/contracts with good faith has a decent chance of getting their trade passed through.

I (and now I can probably speak for the other admins) don't play favorites one bit. No one is targeted. The GMs who some may think are getting preferential treatment go about things the correct way. The don't have a win at all costs mentality. If we deny an upgrade, trade, signing, whatever... they don't blow up about it. They ask what can be done to make things work.
