BAL/KCR - 'PR' - 01-10-2012

Bal sends:
James Runyon LF 24 87 87 Arby'26

Kcr send:
Dan Pollack SS 19 67 91 Arby'28
James Learned LF 20 73 86 Arby'28

Power hitting Corner OFers are a dime a dozen in this league, and getting young talent with some good upside in return for a guy we think won't stay healthy enough to give us this kind of haul in the future is a pretty good deal for us.

Like Runyons power, and while out current LF Harry Curtis is playing exceptionally well, he wen't down a considerable amount of points of in power. Pollack was a 6th round draft pick who I'm suprised has had his peak rise this much. I don't think he will ever have the defense to play SS so he was likley going to end up as a corner OF'er anyway. Learned has always been a project and I have lots of OF'ers in my farm anyway. Runyon is also under team control for a few more years. All in all a fair trade for both sides.
