RE: How the hell is this fair? - Jordan - 10-23-2010 Jordan didn't process it because he didn't see where you agreed to it. Scotty just do what Sean suggested. RE: How the hell is this fair? - ezpkns34 - 10-23-2010 I'm fine with Sean's solution. Like I said, releasing him is the worst idea b/c he's obviously a member of one of these 2 teams RE: How the hell is this fair? - Jordan - 10-23-2010 retire him lol if no one wants him. RE: How the hell is this fair? - hokeyrules - 10-23-2010 No Re-editing. RE: How the hell is this fair? - hokeyrules - 10-23-2010 and like DJ said in the transaction thread, he said he was yours if no one else claimed I don't really see how thats not responding to you Scotty.... I would love to back you on this one because that is a heinous contract, but I don't really see how there is something to say otherwise. RE: How the hell is this fair? - chrisveley - 10-23-2010 The way I look at it is that Scotty willing claimed a declining RP, and was aware of the risks. I made is clear in my waiver thread I was letting him go and I was glad to see him and his contract go. If anything, Scotty didn't pull the trade offer, and I posted "Accepted" after the fact. Either way, He's not on my team. I think it would be a bad idea to raise his stats for Scotty.... He was aware of the risks. Think the Jays got a break when they signed BJ Ryan to a $50M contract and then he tanked? Nope. They used him while they could, then bought his ass out. RE: How the hell is this fair? - Jordan - 10-23-2010 He didnt even decline that much for this to be such a big deal. RE: How the hell is this fair? - dejota - 10-23-2010 Frankly he should be on scotties team at the current rating, I agree with Nick that with his 57 (54 after the sim) health and 34 years on this earth or even the fact he had 6 more injured days at the top of the sim is the most likely culprit of the drop not the fact he was in the minors. No matter what is said this drop and his eventually being cut for cash was inevitable I don't see how him dropping sooner than later should change a damn thing. RE: How the hell is this fair? - chrisveley - 10-23-2010 simple... leave it how it is, move him over to scotty's team for the $1M in cash I lost paying him over the last sim. Leave Soriano like how he is, don't leave him on my team I mean.
