Another big selling point is his 10 ASG which is on par with the others in this wing. Speedy Camar: The wins are on the low end of par, the ERA is on par with the rest of the group, the rest of the stats may not be however and only 4 ASG and 1 Cy young is a bit weak but he might be worth another look. Scott Russell: So the wins are not there, in fact they would be a lot lower then anyone in the HOF. But his GS is very low, if you calculate how many wins he might have had in a similar amount of starts you get 40-100 more wins which makes a big difference, that being said his ERA is very low and would be sixth best in the HOF, his OBA is low and the upper half of the hall and he had a good amount of K for the few amount of games acutally pitched. Also with 9 ASG and 3 Cy Youngs he was a very dominant pitcher in his time, including 7 straight fron 50-56 then again in 58. RP: None C: Nate Johnston: His defense is on par with some of the HOF inductees, as well as RBI and HR, may not deserve to be in but does deserve another shot. Had 5 GG and 5 ASG. UtM: None AtC: 1B: Curt Lockhardt: His HR and RBI put him on par with a lot of Inductees, problems are that his average and hits are a bit low, as is his OPS, also only went to 1 ASG. Aaron Pfeifer: Hits would be second highest (49 shy), RBI on the low end of the current group, HR are very low, would have the most 2B by a bit, his triple slash is low as is his OPS, went to 2 ASG 3B: Jaime White: His stats are on par with a lot of inductees, his Hits would be almost tied for highest (12 hits shy), RBI a little low, BB on par, would have the most doubles, went to 3 ASG. Mitch Meachum: His hits are low, as are RBI, doubles are on par BB would be second highest, his triple slash is on par and is OPS would be second highest, went to 3 ASG OF: Steve August: Not sure how he is not already in. He would be the second highest RBI total and more than many of the other Inductees, he would also be second in HR, his hit total puts him in the middle of the pack that's already in, his BB are low, his triple slash is on the low end but his OPS is where it needs to be. Vinnie Evans: His hits are a bit on the low end, his 2B are where they need to be the HR, BB and RBI are also not quite where they need to be however his triple slash and OPS are on par with members of the Hall, went to 3 ASG Vinnie Bastos: His hits are on point but still on the lower end, his 2B are low and would be the lowest, his HR and RBI are in a good spot, he has more RBI than the other Vinnie, his BB are very low but his triple slash is as good as the rest that are in and his OPS is very good as well |
