There really is no way wants to outbid a draft day contract. I mean a draft day contract is what 15,000 a year? The next bid will be 500k a year.

Then the only way to solve this problem is to disallow the signing of undrafted Free Agents until the trade deadline or off-season. If this is that big a problem, fighting over guys who 9 times out of 10 don't even make the big league roster, then we need to make it impossible to sign these guys on draft day. It wouldn't be fair to the other guys who didn't have a chance at signing the guy who will lead their AA team to a championship.

We don't need to make these low 70s peaks guys unsignable until a certain period. And I don't agree with a signing limit. If no one else wants a certain player a team might not be able to sign them if they've signed their allotment.

If my suggestion about draft day contracts was put into action, then this wouldn't be a problem. SDP, OAK, or any other team could've bid a draft day contract and since their record was worse than mine they would've trumped my bid.

Really? I mean if millions of dollars were at stake, I'd see the point. But these guys. I mean they are high school ballers.....
