tv contracts - arod12 - 01-21-2012 i think we should do tv contracts.... like how the yankees have yes network RE: tv contracts - Atlbravesfan27 - 01-22-2012 hmm... Care to expand on how you incorporate that into a mogul league or are you just making a random statement? RE: tv contracts - mike - 01-22-2012 Could be a cool concept, but we already have way too much cash in this league, not including what's in people's banks. RE: tv contracts - arod12 - 01-22-2012 ok so you guys know how people grew up watching the TBS braves? I mean things like that or how in the 40's the Cards had the whole midwest by radio and thats how they got most fans. Something like that.... RE: tv contracts - hokeyrules - 01-22-2012 what? RE: tv contracts - arod12 - 01-22-2012 EDIT: ok my point is people don't have a baseball team in Michigan or Iowa. Say the CHW or CHC sign a contract to have 100-152 games televised there and get a fan base other than Chicago. So then you can get the fan base from Regions/areas where people don't have a MLB team. then you can get a ton of fans and get revenue. RE: tv contracts - dlee2499 - 01-22-2012 vetooooo RE: tv contracts - mattynokes - 01-22-2012 Budget...Broadcast... So...no, just no. RE: tv contracts - jhc54 - 01-22-2012 Actually I think this is a great idea. We can generate a formula similar to revenue sharing and calculate contracts on a per year basis. RE: tv contracts - arod12 - 01-22-2012 other parts: We would have like 5 Station and you would have 2 bid like a Ebay style bidding in the offseason. Each contract is from 5-10 years. |
