accept. cleaning house. None of those players were on my long term roster so why not save money now?

Phillies approve. We shed some payroll, get RF so we can finally move Heyward, and add some guys that can compete for a job on the rotation.

I know I'm not a mod, and I don't like doing this (posting in a trade thread which i'm not involved in) But my name is in red haha, so I can! This trade makes little sense. Your not saving money now, Buccholtz is more expensive than these three, and your giving up extra value for Buccholtz. Only benefit i see is that you are free of Westmoreland, Barr and Scarpetta for the 2011 season.
