2091 Mock Draft
#1
1.  Nyy  Rodger Hartridge RF 71/93-  Good bat good defense.  Picking #1 this year isn't as easy but taking an all around good player shouldn't be that hard a choice.
2.  Ari  Vinny Pope SS 71/93- Will be a solid bat and a solid defender with great speed with no other options jumping off the page its a good choice.

3.  Tor  James Hanrahan CF 75/95- Big time power bat with good defense for CF, never a bad choice.
4.  Cin  Dave Goodrich 1B 60/94- Not sure which way Theo goes here there are plenty of options but a lefty bat with this build is a good choice.
5.  Min  Craig Faller SP 60/89- Which way does Mocky go, SP Faller is a SP that Masc should like and I think he goes here.
6.  Nym  Shawn Oullete 3B 61/92- Decker is a wild card in drafting but a big power eye bat with solid defnse at the hot corner doesn't fall further than this.
7.  Atl  Shane Wrenn SP 52/87-  People are arguing for this SP to go high, so here he is.  There is plenty to like with Wrenn and seems like a guy right up Stang's alley.
8.  Tex  Dave Mitchell 2B 71/90- WP likes to grab good 2B in the draft, he will do so again.  Great defense and a good bat, nice pick here.
9.  Hou  Karl Hancock LF 59/90- Houston is rebuilding so take a big bat, yeah he is more a DH but the bat is too good to ignore.
10.  Lad  Dee Hammond RF 67/93- Not the best defender but he would play LF and his offense will be very good so he is worth the pick.
11. Stl   Marty Casser SP 70/92- Matty argues that GD will take FOrster here but I think he goes Casser big power should do well in Stl.
12.   Laa Wil Jimgrez 1B 65/90-  Dan takes the young 1B bat with big time potential.  Should be ok enough to stick at 1B defensively.
13.   Pit  Brian Pembrooke RP 71/92- Best CL on the board, Gilly wont pass him up.
14.  Hou   Doug Fenn LF 64/88- Typical TT grab, good young lefty bat with defense ability.
15.  Sea  Greg Devitt RP 72/89: Seattle loves CL and with the best off the board they will take the next best one.
16.  Chw  Neal Gray RF 67/93; Another wild card where does G$ go, he goes with the good lefty bat with LF defense/
17.  Chc  John Macowen SP 52/88- He will be ignored as a lefty but that is a mistake, he will be a good SP to have in the rotation.
18.  Det Adam Toswell SP 66/88- GB loves a good looking SP and Toswell falling to him here is a great chance to add a nice one.
19.  Oak  Brian King SP 51/87- Philly wil go pitching, plenty of bats here still but King has a nice build even as a lefty.
20.  Lad  John Barnett 3B 67/90- Solid defense great contact, he might not be as good as other 3B taken in drafts of late but he will be good.
21.  Sfg  Walt Welshans 3B 73/87- San Fran sent their 3B away last year, not the reason why they will take him but great defense and a good bat you don't pass on him here.
22.  Sfg  Trevor Doyle SP 69/85- This will be where Wisguy steps in and takes his SP, people will knock it but it is a good choice at this part of the draft.
23.  Sea  Dallas Roux SP 58/88- Seattle takes a power left, why because no one else will.
24.  Phi  Mario Trigero 2B 69/86- Solid defense blazing speed and an solid bat, he will be a good pick to help shore up the Philadelphia defense for the next decade.
25.  Bos  Phil Edwards 1B 65/88- Boston is a wild card as well, but to keep the train rolling they take a lefty power bat.
26.  Cle  Keith Kipnes 1B 63/90- Matty does what more should do he takes the best bat left on the table and then benefits greatly for years because of it.
27.  Sdp  Jose Arrias CF 67/86-  Percy goes with an amazing defender and a solid bat who could be their long term CF.
28.  Fla  Luis Diaz C 66/87- Not maybe the best catcher but he will be a good bat, some will still play him at catcher and that might be ok, at 28 its worth the risk.
29.   Bal  Tobias Seppings 3B 65/92- Good young bat with ok defense. Might end up more 2B than 3B and some bat concerns but at 17 you have plenty of time to wait.
30.  Sfg  Rob Fitz 1B 73/88- Higuy takes a play out of Mattys playbook and takes the best bat left in the 1st.  Fitz is a RH but he has the great power eye build and he will mash.
