Incorrect. Because contract was signed BEFORE 2015, when said rule came into effect, Zim's POs do not have to be included in his release money. I only owe him half of what he was guaranteed.

Madison Bumgarner
Pedro Borrero I qualify for the 50% buyout for these guys since they aren't my contracts, I came to the team after they were signed. Also, Dejota gave me an exception for Bumgarner's PO so I do not have to pay for that. Should be $6.5M for Bumgarner and $25M for Borrero, correct me if I am wrong They both cleared waivers

33 million, but with 50% its 16.5 because of player options. Borrerro is correct. |
