2015 Compensation-Eligible Players
#1
Before I actually list the players, I want to say that an excel spreadsheet has been attached for each of the 5 position groups. Each excel file has 4 sheets: 2013 stats, 2014 stats, 2015 stats & the Compensation scores

Also, here are the Compensation Score cutoffs for compensation:

SP Type A (75+)
SP Type B (65-75)

RP Type A (75+)
RP Type B (65-75)

C Type A (95+)
C Type B (82-95)

Corners Type A (110+)
Corners Type B (100-110)

Middles Type A (90+)
Middles Type B (72-90)

Listed along with the players is the "Fallback Offer" for the player. This is a 1 year salary that you must offer the player if you want to receive compensation. This offer is determined by going to Advanced Tools & hitting the Calculate Salaries button.

If you don't offer this Fallback Offer to the player, you don't receive compensation if another team signs him to a deal. If you do offer this Fallback Offer to the player & no team bids on the player by Spring Training, then you will have signed the player to that 1 year contract & will receive no compensation.

The total value of the opening bid on a compensation-eligible player must be greater than the player's listed Fallback Offer

FALLBACK OFFER MUST BE ACCEPTED BEFORE FREE AGENCY BEGINS IF YOU WANT TO RECEIVE COMPESNATION

This offer can be accepted in your offseason re-signings thread or PREFERABLY in this thread. There are NO excuses if you don't accept the Fallback Offer in time

Type A
SP Clay Buchholz (NYY - $14.6M) - FALLBACK ACCEPTED
SS Asdrubal Cabrera (SF - $15.2M) - RE-SIGNED
LF Miguel Cabrera (Cin - $7.1M) - FALLBACK ACCEPTED (in his re-signings thread)

Castro should be hitting arby, not free agency since he has less than 6 years of service time (bug in Mogul)

Refer to this quote from the massive rules post on how to sign him to an arby contract:

If you have a player in this situation you still have a right to go to arbitration one more time. To figure out the amount you will have to sign take the amount they were awarded the previous year and multiply it by 1.33. So if your player earned 9M in his previous arbitration you'll have to offer a 1yr/12M (really 11,999,999 but only nick is counting) deal in his final year of arbitration.

Or you could just go ahead & extend him long term if you prefer
