The yearly discussions with Andy, Sean (before he left), and myself have come to the following changes:
1. League Revenue: Following the 2034 sesaon league revenue will be dropped to -10%. This is being made since cash is more than abudant in the league. We are giving a year as a grace for people to plan ahead.
2. Contracts: Many have asked what happens when a player they signed in FA has a contract run out before they've reached 6 years of service time. In MLB teams still retain that player's team control. We are giving you the option to retain the player's arbitration years as would be done in MLB.
From here forward you will need to specify "Arbitration" in the player's bids, otherwise you will be out of luck. By doing so, the admin signing the player in-file will edit his contract to "Arbitration" style. Once the contract you have offered runs out, the player will change into an arbitration style contract. There will be no added value to your bids by including or not including this. It's purely up to you.
As for players that are already signed in game, please reply here and they will be fixed.
Lastly, since $500K salaries are not guaranteed draft day contracts can extend to $500K/1 Year offers.
