Ari gets
Juan Natal SP 76/96 20

TBR gets
Russ Ragland 71/88 RP 22
Galen Vollmer 75/86 RP 21
Leon Newman 72/81 IF 21
$10 Mil Cash

I accept. Gain 2 RP specs with a lot of potential and Newman has a chance to be a good contact hitter in the bigs. Also add much needed cash. [/align]

I like this deal because I am lacking that one big high peaked SP for my future and this deal gets it done. I hate to lose Vollmer because I think he's underrated and Newman has some nice contact but even after giving up 10 mil I think this deal is worth it because Natal has a chance at being something special. I accept.

Tampa's lack of a plan has gone far enough. Natal is one of the few top end specs you have, dealing for pennies on the dollar is enough.

All that is happening in Tampa is shuffling the chairs on the deck.

As new GM of the Tampa Bay Rays, I would like to formally request that this trade not go through.
