TEX receives:
SP Luke Wadley 23 YO (82/92) earning min
SP Tomasz Martinez 22 YO (63/78) earning min

CHW receives:
SP Tomasz Torres (70/87) 22 YO earning min
SS Nelson Hayter (82) earning 2.66 mill through the year
3rd round pick

I get Torres and the third for Wadley. Hayter is literally a throw in that I am taking and paying very little for.

I trade the guy who is currently the best arguably (Wadley) for a guy who might be better long term, though there is no guarantee (Torres). If this is the cost for Torres so be it.

We accept, We get a solid replacement for Torres in Wadley, Hayter's a guy on our trade block who we don't want, and we got a guy in Martinez who could develop more than we expect him to.

Veto

It seems now it's getting to the point where each sim it's trade just to make some trades and not having a real plan in place.

More explanation. kc your post essentially said: "what the hell, we swapped dudes" Considering Wadleys limited future this deserves more thought.

Wow and to think that I thought I got my ass kicked during that trade.

And I'm not sure where Wadley was drafted should have any bearing on this trade. But I guess it does? So this is another thing I need to consider when making a trade. Where my pick was taken. Good to know.
