DET - WAS
#1
WAS Gets:
SP Santos Macies - 92/94 - 25 years old - 500K
RP Rob Wood - 90/90 - 32 years old - 10M

DET Gets:
SP Calmetat - 83/83 - 24 years old - 500K
SP Bunning - 88/88 - 24 years old - 500K
SS Hardigg - 94/94 - 29 years old - 9.31M until 2026
RP Desdin - 81/84 - 24 years old - 500K

I upgrade at pitching and RP to stay competitive. Gave up more than I wanted to but RP/SP are such a tough commodity to acquire.

Can I get a reasoning behind the veto?

um for one if he was trading just Santos he could get more than what he got from you. Then there is ward, there is the fact he just said he was looking for pitching to improve his team and then traded it away.

So either A) Shop Santos Macies, which now based on the last veto cuts out 3 teams that could have wanted him.
B) Wait until the deadline to decide whether you actually want to do your rebuild or compete since you have flipped around.

Just adding a player does not change a thing to me, logic is the main issue, I don't see the issue with a 25 year old Macies that any competing team would ask for. So here is a question why do you actually want to trade him. For what purpose?

Logic is the issue, similarily I just vetoed a trade with Matty because a pitcher was not shopped, this remains a veto to me.

In my opinion Strat you need time to determine value of players.

I don't understand how this can be vetoed. He's getting a top SS and a good pitcher out of Bunning who is only 24 years old. Plus a replacement RP and a backend SP and I also included Boone. Bunning is a good pitcher and definitely gives Strat an opportunity to remain competitive. He upgraded at SS significantly and still got a good pitcher in return.

What precisely is your reasoning for vetoing? Logic? If so that's pretty ridiculous to me.
